Again, demo crashes on launch

I have the same issue with the demo for the first Clockwork game. This demo is doing it too.

I'm getting a crash on launch but mine just says it's crashed and stopped working, i don't have any errors to go on and verifying files turns out fine.. any ideas? http://prntscr.com/7m3ve7

EDIT: ran compatability mode, recommended settings fixed the issue.
