Refunded because of ticking damage

While the rest of the game seems great, there are mechanics that I really dislike. First and foremost, the ticking damage. Just no. Does not belong in the turn-based genre. The entire point is that the player can take his or her time. Playing fast to get out of taking damage should not be a mechanic here. This alone made me refund the game. Then there is the timed-hit cards, which I dislike, especially combined with the play-fast mechanic above. Then there are the annoying graphical effects, like making ...

controller support is all messed up. . (demo version)

I'm playing the demo and maybe it's fixed in the full version. but the controls are messed up. when i'm trying to interact with things on the screen, the cursor movement goes weird places, like i press right and left and it won't move, but then i press up or down and then it moves and then i can press left or right and it will move 1 or 2 spaces and then won't let me move it anymore, but then pressing up, moves it 2 spaces to the left an then i move it 2 more spaces to the left and then pressing up agai...

I don't know what debuffs i have sometimes?

I got to the last boss (maybe?) and honestly i was getting hit by what i assume was poisons or debuffs or whatever, i find it pretty hard to tell them at a glance tbh, especially on controller, maybe pressing a button could show a window with all the current effects and debuffs? Great game tho, like the earthbound combat, tho' I do miss the story part, if there's ever a sequel, maybe a hub with characters would be great!...

Any word on soundtrack release?

Know the game's still in early access, so there's probably still tracks to add and everything, but is there any ideas for when the ost might be available for purchase on Steam? Or if it's available anywhere else? Really enjoying a number of the battle tracks and wish I could find a good quality way to listen to them. Would also be nice to support the artist/artists who've worked on it too!...

Possible to add a feature to slow down the game/text?

Hello! I'm a visually impaired gamer and while I appreciate the ability to turn off some of the flashing and screen shake I was hoping I'd be able to slow down the text scroll speed or overall turn speed of the game. Some of the text moves so fast that I don't have a chance to read it before the next enemy attacks. And I'm talking about both the enemies talking but also the actual combat messages. I love e the game and enjoy playing it but this feature would really make this game amazing and more play...

Update 2.11: Improved save/load, battle speed options, UI updates, and more!

Hey dudes.

We skipped over an update announcement (2.1) like it was Windows 9, so this will include some stuff you've probably already noticed if you've been playing lately!

Improved Save/Load: An oft-requested feature is finally in - you can now save anywhere/anytime on the schedule! If you notice any bugs with this, please let me know so I can squash them.
Reworked Sanity Attacks: Enemy sanity hits now only occur as their own intent (rather than alongside damage). The previous implementation was a little cluttered/confusing, so this was done to simplify things and make battles flow more smoothly.
Enemy Balance Changes: Lots of encounters have been adjusted. A few new attacks/behaviors were added. Many encounters should feel a bit less punishing or difficult now.
UI Changes: Armor, Block, and Sanity Shield now appear next to their respective resources rather than in the status bar. Fonts have been changed to accommodate localization and readability.
Random Event Art: Random events now have art. I don't know what else to put here. There's art. It goes with the events. Art is cool.
Battle & Text Speed Options: You can now adjust text and battle speed (skill animations/delays) to be slower or faster to your heart's content! These new options are available in the settings menu.
Bug Fixes: Of note, several controller/gamepad bugs have been fixed.

Two new random events didn't quite make the cut. Expect those to be patched in within the next week or so.

What's next? We'll continue on localization prep work, the 5th playable character, the post-CEO boss, and adding more encounters/skills/talents.
