It's a pretty poor attempt at DOOM. I do hope that the rumours of the next one being a lot slower paced are true - let's get DOOM back to it's horror roots and do away with all this platforming nonsense.

I think air control dramatically alters your movement in the air, to an extent that makes it too impactful to be optional. I understand that's the rune's primary purpose, but there's a significant disparity between having that rune and not having it. Ballista boosters are horrible, that is, they are horrible. They really are. Games are unbalanced as f*ck because you use ballista boosting. Now, you should wonder why da f*ck the Battlemode's playerbase is so small. New players leave the game after 1-2 rounds because you obliterate them.
