Alan Wake lags so hard! :(

I just got Alan Wake and I heard it's a really good game but it lags really really bad!
My specs are:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3,10GHz
6,00 GB RAM
Graphic is AMD RADEON HD 6450
plus I have 64bit Win7

It lags very badly on medium... Is there anyway to make it run smoothly? Should I buy a new computer?
Help, please?

You can try lowering all of the settings as much as possible, but at the end of the day - your computer is really weak/old. The processor you could get away with, but even that is dual-core. But as far as I know that gpu is really, really, slow. So If you cant afford a completely new computer, see if you can at least afford a decent graphics card.
