English training servers?
Hello, earlier today I bought Arma 3 and have tried it out for a little bit, I was wondering if there are any servers with players that might help me and my older brother get to grips with this game. we're in the UK and would really appreciate some help from English speaking players

Also are there any mandatory mods we should download?
Thanks in advance!

get losis armory altis/stratis, can be played in multiplayer with your brother. there you can test everything, including stuff from mods.

also the showcase missions and the campaign is good for learning.

thousands of coop missions can be found in the workshop

multiplayer: PVE : invade annex, insurgency, patrol ops,... no mods required
multiplayer without mods: king of the hill, A3Wasteland ,...

multiplayer with mods: wasteland by samatra, epoch, breaking point, battle royal,...

a3cdn . com launcher has many popular mods like sa-matra wasteland, epoch, battle royal, dragon fyre sound mod.

best if you join a squad or clan which fits your playstyle

This is the best advice. For example, last night I spent over 8 hours with a new clan member, and a guy new to Arma. If you have the time, find a clan that will work with you and set you on the right path.

Sounds like your a little young, which might make it hard to join a clan (most clans are 18+ or 20+), but there are a few that have no age restrictions.

Not trying to advertise, but if your interested my clan is www.28tharma.com. We have no age restrictions, but you have to be able to follow the rules. Check out the video on the website if your interested.
