Who Are We?

Founded officially in June 2014, Task Force Dingo is a small but diverse group of people who come collectively to play Arma. Like many other communities we are like-minded players who wish to experience a certain type of game-play above what is normally seen in most games. We strive to play in a serious and tactical manner whilst still retaining that sense of fun within the game.

While many of us enjoy simply playing the game, some of us enjoy other challenges such as:
Leading a team through an intense firefight - designing a small scale mission - to creating a campaign for the community. Many of us have been playing Arma since Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis and wish to continue to experience challenges and fun of the series. That is our aim here at Task Force Dingo, to create not only a group of players who enjoy Arma for what it is but also to create a community that is passionate about the game.

While our community was founded with Arma as our focus.
We are all gamers at heart and love to enjoy other games and genre’s. From First Person Shooters to Arcade games and Simulators alike. We play for the love of gaming and sharing a common experience. Be that in a big Arma mission, building a base in Space Engineers, Shooting down jets in DCS or racing each other in Iracing. It is not just about the game, it is about the community.

What We Do?

Every weekend TFD hosts an event created by our talented mission designers, the missions are often challenging but always fun win or lose. Currently we hold our mission night on a saturday evening with varying time frames to suit WA players and NZ players.

Each mission is centred around a storyline created by our mission designers, and often the steps we take in game directly influence how the remainder of a mission will turn out. Think of it as an adaptive mission. This is more prevalent in our adversarial missions where we play against each other to achieve objectives.

We have no training or practice nights, the best way for everyone to practice is to simply jump right in.

As we have always stood behind the title of community and not a “Unit” as such we do not restrict roles within our missions. Everyone new or veteran is free to pick and choose which ever role they wish. Be it a Squad leader commanding two fireteams or a fireteam leader leading your troops into an assault. The same goes with all vehicles such as helicopters and jets. We only ask that you play

Although we are an Australian group, many of our members are from New Zealand and we also have a small number of Americans who join us.


Finally as we do not restrict any persons of any certain age we only ask that you act and play in a mature manner.

Other things we do?

As one of the mid-sized Arma groups and again more of a community than a “unit” we often organise events with other clans to try and bring all the Aussies and Kiwis together for larger scale event nights. So often we either host or attend events with the players numbering 40+
We also delve into other games when we are not busy simulating the life of a soldier, be it a Strategy game live CIV 5 or a MOBA like League of Legends. We attempt to keep ourselves as busy as possible when not hindered by real life.

What is recommended:

TeamSpeak :

Obviously a proper PC headset is preferred but if you have a mic on a lap top or webcam that will do the job temporally.
