Arma 3 multiplayer wont work

whenever i try to join a multiplayer game it just shows the map and stratus in the top left corner and the alpha message in the top right and no other options

me too, then kicks me out of ther server after a couple mins

I was fine until Sunday evening 28/07/13, then I started to get the same thing. I uninstalled then re-installed (well, you never know), it worked! I could then get online again for the night but this evening I'm stuffed (again). I get to choose a server but it just hangs then kicks me off. Any ideas? I was getting into this.

I have been playing since release with no problems untill last night now it crashes when trying to go into any server. What the hell has changed?

I'm having the same issues. Apparently, it has something to do with Steam Ticket Check failure.

That would explain why I can get online again after I re-install from scratch, I've done it three times and it always works for a while but to be honest I can't be arsed to do it anymore and I've had no reply from my email to ARMA.

If this is after you select your position and are attemption to join the battle, startup a mp server of your own on one of the prepackaged scenarios like headhunters. Once you are in game on that you can leave and attempt to join whatever server you were originally attempting to play on.

no, ive tried it and it doesnt, i have had no problems with Arma 3 until yesterday, crashes every time i try to play [HOSTILE TAKEOVER] King of the hill. Crashes right after "receiving data". Please someone help us poor saps out.

In the same position here, but the loading a showcase then quitting it and going into multiplayer does seem to work for me, hopefully its on the fix list!

Dont load a showcase, I said a MP server with a MP scenario. IIRC its an issue with dl'ing mission cache.

yeah rover, ive done that. the game will run in the king of the hill server for about 10 min. then crash again the same way.

Sucks, I don't know what might be causing the issue, I had the issue where it would lock up after receiving data then eventually CTD. My only other idea is to go into your c:/user/.../appdata/local/arma 3 alpha and delete everything in your MPMissionsCache folder Also that Arma 3 folder is where your crash reports are. If all else fails, take those and go to the official forums for help
