Do you mean a waypoint in the editor? Or do you mean ordering your squad (or an individual or set of individuals out of your squad) to kill someone?

In the editor you would use "!alive unitname" without the quotes where unitname is the name you gave the unit you want dead.

If you want 2 units dead before the change then you would use "!alive unitname AND !alive unitname" instead.

If you want one unit dead out of 2 (or more) you would use "!alive unitname OR !alive unitname" in that case.

While Mr Murrays' guide is rather old and doesn't cover anything new added in ArmA 2 or 3, it's still very valuable in learning how things work. You can check it out here:

Under any Condition field in the editor. You can either use a Trigger or a Waypoint condition. Like I said, a quick glance through Mr Murrays' guide will teach you quite a bit. Once you want to learn more, I'd suggest the ArmA 3 Editing forums.

http://forums.bistudio.com/forumdisplay.php?162-ARMA-3-BETA-MISSION-EDITING-amp-SCRIPTING

Beware that they have a low tolerance for threads like this though. Using the forums search function usually leads to the right answer, and if it doesn't then go ahead and make a thread for your question.

in detail:
1) put a trigger down with F3.
2) iopen it and put in the conditions field "!alive target1" (no quotes) instead of "this"
3) name your target target1
4) synchronize with F5 the trigger to the desired waypoint. The next waypoint will not be activated until you kill "target1"

hope this makes sense...

It should work. make sure the name of the target matches in the unit and trigger condition. You may also want to try to put in the scroll down menu of the trigger (sorry I don't remember hos is called) insted of bluefor (default) "anybody or opfor if the target is opfor...
