Black Compass??

After the latest update, while playing my usual Wasteland by Sa-Matra or Breaking Point, I've noticed that my compass' face is black. The cardinal directions are still highlighted , but it is next to impossible to see the numbers on the face of the compass as they are all blacked out.

Anyone else getting this?

(I'm sure my game files are verified and have no mods other than Breaking Point installed. I uninstalled that for testing with no changes.)

just tested and found the same, although I could still read the numbers OK, they definitely don't stick out as good as before. However at night it's impossible to see anything except the North arrow, everything else is black (even NV gogles don't help much)

I will see if there's an open ticket on the tracker and report it if there isn't yet. Hopefully it will be fixed soon

I have the same problem. Yesterday it was fine. Today i cant see anything on my compass. At night it is impossible to see the numbers.

just read in the forums, this problem will be fixed with hte next patch. until then i will use your silver one. :-) Thanks, much appreciated!

This Compass is used on 1:50,000 scale maps for the US Military. This compass features both a 0-6400 mils scale (20 mil resolution) and a 0-360 degree scale (5 degree resolution), with an accuracy of +/- 40 mils . The Mils Scale is used in part for Artillery setup on your map. They do need to fix the background ,it's not suppose to be Black.
