cant host mp game, is there fix

We have try host mp game whit friends but friends cant see the server in game or i cant see friends game, invite wont help, it try connect but fail... remote connecting dont work. we have try several ways even closing firewall, NAT, etc... Network box cant open port 2302 or 2303 it sucks should i buy new maybe.. So little help would be nice please.

i try delete and unsubsribe all workshop missions too, seems few wont leave in here C:\Users\Paddington\AppData\Local\Arma 3 could that be broblem too?

There is definitely something not quite right as previously I was able to host a listen server however it has stopped working and I am unsure when it stopped working as it has been months since I hosted one that worked.

Now I tackled this like it was an issue at my friends end and my end and I had a look at all the ports on the game that were listening for a connection and ensured there was port forwards through NAT on my router.
No dice.

I turned off windows firewall (which is ♥♥♥♥ anyway and the game should get past without issue)
no dice

disabled antivirus.

Restarted PC

LAN servers seem to still work so this is definitely an external connection issue however I am unsure where the fault is at the moment.

tried joining his game/my game through steam, no dice.
tried connecting to his IP directly through the game
No dice.

assistance would be appreciated

I have the same problem !!! Also i have a problem joining another server (moinmoin DE) Every time i do, i get messege - Arma stoped working ! My frend tells me that it write - Steam ticket fail check !! I can join other servers but now we played there for a long time and trying to build a fraktion. It like the problem came afther the last update or somthing, and getting worse ? Somtimes i can join, and when i do, i can play all night without any problems. But the most of the times, i can use houers trying to connect. Plz Help What to do. I have no addons istalled and no workshop missions subscribed !!!

It seems my mp work but not hosting a game, cant find fix for this... Have enyone report this to BIS?? If they are only ones who can fix this maybe next patch, i hope

Same issue here! i think it depends on our internet provider... i am connected to the www with a IPv6 DS Lite Tunnel by a FritzBox Router (Unitymedia Germany) and all my internal network is running on IPv4... this issue was coming up with the update where Gamespy was removed, i have read about that Steam is now do all the hostings for this game??? correct me if im wrong... maybe Steam game hosting/Arma game hosting does not support IPv6?

I don't know if that helped in my case, but I tried to forward some extra ports which I saw on a website (can't find it anymore, it also had an accurate description why you need to open these ports).

2302 UDP
2303 UDP
2305 UDP
8766 UDP
27016 UDP

I tried it with the first 2 ports, but it didn't work. Before that my friend couldn't also join over IP.

But after trying these extra ports it worked.
