i just played through Fear again and its still the best fps imo......

now i searched for another game and this looks promising but does it work on windows 10 64 bit?

and is there still online mode?

Yes, there are players on multiplayer, but, to be honest, this game has no VAC, so you have two choices.
You either play on the unprotected servers, together with cheaters, or on administrated servers. Yet many admins here are highly subjective, in the beginning, you might not care, but once you get good at the game, you may get kicked or banned for no real reason.

Also this community is quite toxic, and many players here are playing since years. So you will face toxic, spamming pro-players, insulting and hunting you.

So, the game works on Windows 10 but... if you want to relax while playing, stay away from AvP3 multiplayer!
