Anyone Know Where the Sentry Went in the Lobby?

I took a tour last July and forgot to notice that they didn't have the Sentry anymore. It's now replaced by the Atlas statue. Anyone know where it went?

My guess is that Atlas kills turrets for fun, so he couldn't resit

my guess is they moved it somewhere else, but i have no evidence to prove my theory as plausable.

it was probably for portal 1 and atlas is from 2 so that probably means that when poral 2 came out they switched!

They probably sold it. or traded it for hats. or the engineer accidentally mistook it for one of his turrets.

Portal 2 was 2011, not 2012

Yes, the turret is no longer in the lobby when I toured in September. However, I did see it either on the second or third floor outside their gym.

Which turret? The TF2 Sentry or the Portal 2 turret? And by the second or third floor, you mean actually outside Valve's block of floors? They're floors 6 through something like 13, right? Or do you mean their gym on floor 6 + 2 or 3 = 8 or 9? I never saw the gym in my tour.
