In topic Text vertical alignment with images
I pasted an Imgur URL in on the same line of text as my message and the URL got replaced with the image. But the text was vertically aligned with the bottom of the image, which is not great behavior. Setting the CSS property
vertical-align: top;
would help here.

Sounds like an awesome idea! I'd love to see this. Do you have some samples of your work, by the way, just out of curiosity?

In topic Did developers abandon game ?
They ran out of money and the full-time team disbanded, but the founder and a group of volunteers have continued working on it part-time. So it's still alive, but sort of hibernating and growing at a slow pace.
Huh, interstellarmarines.com is down? Since when?

To be fair, that's a perfectly accurate name. It's a key-value pair.
Yeah, it sounds like you bought an additional copy of the game. Find a friend to give it to so you can both play the co-op campaign together! If you need help troubleshooting the error it's giving you, feel free to try the advice I wrote above and continue asking for help in this thread if that doesn't work.
Any Steam key that successfully activates will download the same official copy of the game from Steam. As long as it's being downloaded directly from Steam, the game is legit.
It sounds like you already own the game from when you purchased it through the third-party seller. I assume that you bought a Steam key and registered it to your account, which is why the second Steam key you are now trying to activate is informing you that you already own the game. As long as your Steam account own a game license and you download and install it through Steam, you are good. If you pirated it by downloading the game outside of Steam, then it won't work. This sounds like an issue related to your computer not running the game properly. I would start troubleshooting by right clicking the game in your Steam library and clicking Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game files.

First, you can try verifying the integrity of the game cache files (it's in the right-click menu of your library along with the uninstall option). Give that a try first, before you try uninstalling it. And no, there shouldn't be any hazard with uninstalling it.

The spearhead-testing branch is actually in line with the public branch, which is usually the case when it doesn't host a test build. You can see that through SteamDB[steamdb.info], or by opting into the beta.
Oh, that's good to hear. In the past that has not always been the case, so I assumed it was stale based on OP's descriptions.

In topic What is the beta "spearhead-testing" for?
At one point in the past, it was the "newest" version of the game (but had bugs that needed testing). Then those bugs were fixed and the full update was released. So the (now) old version has bugs and won't work with the servers that are running on the new version. So it's pretty much useless right now, and you should ignore it. Perhaps in the future Spearheads will again be able to test a new version before the update's full release.

In topic What is the beta "spearhead-testing" for?
It's not "obsolete", it just isn't in use. Everyone, including Spearheads, should be running the main branch, not the old testing branch. There may be more testing going on in the future, but the game's development is not currently utilizing that.

In topic What is the beta "spearhead-testing" for?
That's an old build of the game from a long time ago when Spearhead owners were able to beta test a new release. That new release later got promoted to the full branch, and the Spearhead version is now the stale old version.

In topic How many people can play Co-op together?
Four people is the max for co-op games, but more will fit in multiplayer games.

Curious about this, as I bought a 4 pack and have shared among friends, but there's at least one more mate that might be keen to play as well.
If you want, you can send the copies you don't need so I can do a give away on my YouTube channel for the IM community. I already have the game and I think the game is awesome. I can also post this announcement to social media, and have some ZPS IM officials post it on their official media as well. Let me know if you consider this request, thanks!
He clearly said he's already giving them to his friends. Why would he just donate them to a random person to "give away on YouTube streams"?
There are no significant shiny surfaces anywhere in the room.
I have a room where I mounted both base stations on opposing corners about 14" apart where the wall becomes the ceiling. They both have a clear, unobstructed view of the entire room from a high angle, as well as a line-of-sight path between each other. In many ways this is a very optimal setup.

However since I finished setting it up yesterday, I found that the tracking for the HMD and controllers is very unstable when facing away from one base station. It seems to work well when all tracked devices can see both lighthouses simultaneously, but as soon as I turn away from one particular base station. This happens when all optical sensors are occluded from one base station by my head (but still within perfect view of the other), or when my body fully occludes the optical sensors on either or both of my controllers. When this happens, serious and jarring drift occurs, and sometimes a controller may return but remain offset by several inches for a while until I turn back around. I have not tested it extensively, but it seems that only one particular base station is doing this— it does not occur when I turn 180° to face away from the other base station.

In topic Late but here now!
Glad you're finally here! Hopefully you can get some people to play with, there's definitely a number of us but it's hard to be in the game all the time because there aren't enough of us to play with. Maybe make some more posts here when it's too desolate though! And subscribe to this discussion board.
