Why is everyone saying that these aren't working

The only game in the collection that won't run for me is 7 (because it requires Windows 3 I assume), and I can't stand it anyway. The others run with color issues, but only in fullscreen.
A quick Alt+Enter fixes any and all problems with the games for me, save for the occasional crash.
And I mean, I use Windows 7 on a fairly recent computer.
