Off Map Artillery Realism
So, I had a chance to play Steel Division: Normandy with my dad. That was interesting because he was trained in the US Army in recon in 1956 and became a tank company commander in 1962. He is very familiar with the use of artillery. He was very disappointed in the totally nerfed ranges of the artillery in Steel Divisions vanilla. After two games he said there was no point with such horrible range and he would not play anymore. So, I went out and found THIS mod and was very excited. I downloaded and THINK I got to play it and see that the on map artillery does have significantly more range. However, it seems that the off map artillery spotters (the 356mm naval guns for example) are still only allowed to place their strikes within about 1000 meters. I discussed this with my dad and he said this is unrealistic. They should be able to place the artillery strike anywhere on the map (assuming it is in range of the firing artillery) because of the use off coordinates. And the fact that the units could call in strikes through their company commanders to the forward artillery observers (who would usually sit on a hill and call in strikes for miles around, which is WHY having a hill was important). Can you PLEASE boost this "ring range" to infinite (or within the range of the guns which are firing from off map)?

Would not make sense for gameplay cause those artillery units would never have to expose themselves.

I said no, Marshal, please stop spaming as it will not change anything and i'll have to delete them, or even block you in the end.

why are you so aggressive towards him? you say you want realism, he tells you how it was (actually was) and you tell him to shut up?
what is it then? because your actions say that it's not realism you strive for, while your words say that it is.
