How to get higher resolution
You can raise the resolution in several ways.

To get the best resolution in this viewer
Open the setting window with "View" -> "View Settings" from menu and check "Disable Bitmap Cache". Smooth scrolling will be lost, but map will not get blurred no matter how much you zoom. However, this does not affect the saving of images.

To save images with high resolution
- If you do not need to display 81 tiles, setting the display area to 25 tiles or 9 tiles increases the resolution accordingly. Set it in "Target Areas" of the setting window or choose directly menu "View"->"Target Areas".
- You can also increase the resolution itself. Open the setting window and enter desired value in "Canvas size". Note that entering huge values results in huge memory usage.

-SVG format instead of PNG can take away any "resolution".

@Gansaku
The mod allow to increase resolution but it will not allow me to increrase the tile size. Is there is something I am not doing right?

In setting dialog, maximum setting is 9 (means 9x9)

I see, so it cannot be more than 9 I assume?

Map has only 9 x 9 tiles, what would you like to display any more?
sagiluv1 Jun 11, 2017 @ 5:39pm
Yes, I want to print in 25X25. Everything else is fine but I could just be able to print 25x25 tiles; that would be amazing.

Restrictions can be avoided by entering 25 at RenderAreaSize in CSLMapViewConfig.xml before starting exe. Is that rendering what you wanted?

Yes. all of my cities are 25x25 tiles. I do not use the default 9x9 tiles.

You have 25x25 tiles? I thought CS is limited to 9x9...

The program uses tiles diameter from map center, not tiles area. So 9 is the entire map (9x9=81 tiles), 5 is the default playable area (5x5=25 tiles), 3 is the area adjacent to the start assuming you started in the center (3x3=9 tiles).
Is there a possibility to change the focal point of your maps? Or is this a planned feature? I for one would benefit from the ability to render the map in multiple portions instead of single big blurry 9x9 map

I came here looking for this answer too. When I look at a 3x3, my city is a square below and to the right of the 3x3 shown. A way to shift the focus would be nice, but automatically detecting which 9 squares were used would be better.

Great mod though :)
