Her tears are completely white for me, but change color accordingly with other items.
Don't know if this is intended or not, but range and shot speed ups don't seem to have any effect.
Dying and respawning e.g. with dead cat causes her to lose her hair.
Her tears leave splashes everywhere, making it hard to see incoming bullets.
Also just a suggestion: It would be nice if she started with maybe one more heart, since she suffers from the same fate as Blue Baby. This is coming from somebody with 270 hours on record; sometimes it's a pain in the ass to stay alive long enough to get powerful.
Range has no effect because there is no obvious formula for how range properly affects tear distance since range is a combination of Tear Height, Tear Falling Speed, and Tear Falling Acceleration.
Shot Speed increases how quickly her orbitals rotate around her.
I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do the tear spawn and expire effects without those splashes happening, but there's no apparent way to stop those animations from spawning, so it's either those annoying splashes or no tear spawn/expire synergies (Cricket's Body, Lead Pencil, Glaucoma, etc) for now.
Dying and respawning with dead cat doesn't remove her hair when she has no other items, so I can't do much about that. There's no way to simply check if she's missing a specific null costume, so there's seemingly no way to handle that at the moment since a normal costume crashes.
Cricket's Body splashes when the tear expires which is hitting the ground in most cases.
Some other stuff is on fire, not on collision. Parasite's on collision though.
It wouldn't matter if those splashes weren't so annoying...I could technically remove all traces of those entities when playing as Mei...It's worth trying at least.
E: Death tarot card also fails to do any damage
Great mod, btw! Really fun character!
Every tear she has can only synergise with the proper tear spawn and expire effects if new tears spawn and expire (which her orbitals don't do) and that's currently done by spawning and killing a tear for each of her orbitals every MaxFireDelay frames while firing.
For now I suppose I will remove the tear expire synergies until there is a better solution.
The best outcome is simply removing the splashes as they are spawned, but there's no way to get only those splashes since they don't reference the parent and enemy tear splashes are also counted as friendly. They DO maintain their spawners color so I could make them invisible, but that would make the tears that come out of Cricket's Body invisible as well, leaving only random shadows floating about like this https://files.catbox.moe/4h6im6.gif
Though I suppose Lost Contact and Mom's Knife already override a bunch of stuff.
