Remove what?

This mod, I'd assume.

I'm also trying to uninstall it. I simply unsubscribed but now every time I try to save or exit a map the game crashes. I tried reinstalling the game to no avail. Only when I subscribe again to the mod can I save, however this is not a solution since I need to remove it.

I'm playing with gamepad and this mod just gets in the way (the back button doesn't work for me to switch tabs, so I can't sell anything), and it takes at least 2 seconds of delay every time before it shows any inventory.

I didn't have it on skse.

Nevertheless, in the end I solved it by reinstalling the game. Looks like removing it from the Steam subscribed mods doesn't really remove the files, only disables it, which seems to not work for this mod.
Steam Workshop doesn´t really delete downloaded content. Once you suscribe to a mod in here, the files will be in your game no matter what, ergo, if one suscripcion brokes your game, the most likelly thing to happen is that it would stay broken, no matter what you do.

You can try and delete the esm and bsa files from the data folder in SteamApps/Common/Skyrim, and any other file the mod has deliver into your game, but if there´s something changed from the vanilla files, no turning back.

I had to delete my game and reinstall again because of this. Trust me on this one: AVOID STEAM WORKSHOP FOR BETHESDA GAMES, use the NExus Mod Manager and everything will be fine, as this program understand better the complexity of bethesda programing and can delete downloaded mods and their files prettty easily.

EDIT: And yes, you NEED SKSE, it´s requiered or it just don´t run.

How does one disable it, but not uninstall it
One of my mods says it needs it, so...

Go to the skyrim folder and just delete the two skyui files. When you start the game again, it will say that the game is loading something with missing files (your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ skyui) and just accept. Happy gaming!
