Menu takes 1-2 seconds to open?
Title, my Skyrim is fine and doesn't lag very often but when I use SkyUI it takes 1-2 seconds to open the inventory menu which makes looting a pain. Help?

Same thing here. Also, my version had $signs in front of every heading and it was very unwieldy using a game controller rather than keyboard and mouse (there seems to be no way to enter my character's inventory when trying to exchange items, for example) so I've just uninstalled it. A shame, since so many other really nice mods rely on it,

Yes, I do have it correctly installed. I've used the installer itself, and the manual way. Still doesn't work.

Did you also start the game using the SKSE Launcher?

This happens when I forget to start the game using the SKSE_Loader. If it still happens then I'm not sure how to help you.

I had the same problem on Windows 8.1.
Just run Skyrim(SKSE) shortcut (assume you have it on your desktop) with admin previledge by right clicking. Or you can just set it in the property and double clicking will do.

you have to run the game with the SKSE Launcher, it's in the same folder that the game is in (the file named TESV.exe), just put it into the desktop as a shortcut to it and use that instead of steam's play button or the regular shortcut, it'll still reroute to steam AND get rid of that stupid launcher splash screen

This fixed the delay issue for me, thanks kuripin.
