So I decided to play skyrim for the first time in like a year. I redownloaded mods that I used to use off the workshop (inluding SKSE and SkyUI). And when I start a game, it gives me "Error Code 1".

I've looked for a solution for this for a while now and tried different things like: Redownload the mod by deleting the files but didn't unsubscribe (both SKSE and SKYUI), switching the order around a few different ways (manually and with BOSS), deactivating all the other mods I have but the DLC, High res packs, and SkyUI.

When I look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim, I notice I have 2 files labled "skse_loader" and skse_steam_boot". I have set both of them to run as admin and used both files. When I use "skse_loader", it says "Couldn't find TESV.exe". But when I use "skse_steam_boot", it goes into the game normally but it still gives me error code 1.

Anyone have any other suggestions?
