Are you launching the game from the Script Extender (SKSE)?

It may not be necessary to got through Nexus for the download. When you launched the game, did you go into your data files and make sure SkyUI was checked and subscribed? Also, not sure if it matters but did you have it high in your load order?

I downloaded SKYUI, SKSE, and a few other mods. but when i try and launch skyrim, i get the following message: Failed to initialize renderer. Your display doesn't support the selected resolution. Please set a different resolution in skyrim's launcher under 'Display Settings.' I don't know really anything about mods, and I don't know how to fix this/or see if my computer just can't support the mods...please help

To fix this, just go into options and change your resolution to the size of your monitor.
