Bugs
Known bugs:
- Sometimes things keep moving. So strange.
- If the game is paused and the admins leave, there is no way to unpause. Somebody would have to issue the server command GPTogglePause() on the server console.
- I don't know what happens if a player joins and the game is paused.

Please let me know if you find anything

Hi there. I really like your mod. I had a weird issue with it though. After I installed it, it seemed to confilct with Wormhole Icons Clients mod, Pause worked, the wormhole icons didn't. I did many world generations and the other thing I noticed was grass tufts stopped generating in every biome except for grassland. I tried disabling Global pause, and it didn't help. Unfortunately I had to uninstall it completely. Here are the client mods I had installed: Combined Status (enabled), Minimap HUD (enabled), Persistent Compass HUD (disabled), and Wormhole Icons (enabled). For Server Mods I had Detailed Tooltips (enabled), Display Food Values (enabled), Global Positions (enabled) and Increase Stack Size (enabled). I tried a few time disabling all and generating new worlds, no new grass. I used the clients "Clean All" to redownload every thing, no luck. I tweaked with settings, and also reset all defaults, no luck. Wormhole Icons would not work and worlds would not generate grass anywhere but grassland biomes, even with grass set to high in server setting as well. So I removed Global pause, and back to normal. So seems like a funky conflict. Thank you for it, it does work great. :D

This mod does not work when Item Info is enabled.

There is no toggle in the menu, and the hot key does not work either.

Reproduced on a LAN server, all default settings, friends-only, 2 players.
Mod settigns (non-default):
- Everyone can pause
- Hotkey enabled (P)
- "Multi too"
Steps to reproduce (shortest path):
- Host and guest summon to a fresh world
- Host pauses, and unpauses
- Host leaves
- Host resumes the server
Expected:
Host's character is the same
Actual:
Host's characters is the guest's one

UPD:
Under the same circumstances, when guest leaves first, host second, after resume the host owns the same character, but the guest has host's character too.

Guys, have you tested it at all? It's just unplayable. No one wants unresumable, thus disposable games.

I have this problem, and I don't know if it's this mod's fault, but i'll leave it here because it started to happen after intalling it: I play single player, and sometimes when I log out and log in again, my character progress is gone, and I spawn as a new player in an advance played server (with my base and such)

when you are in pause mode when you say s omtihng in chat game freezes and cant unpause do nothing if it is able to be fixed fix it please

Thank you! That's why I can't pause
I paused with caves loaded a bunch of times, and it lead to a time desync of 2 days between the caves and the overworld. Not sure if this is avoidable. Maybe just pause both worlds.

If someone pauses in the surface, the cave get paused too and vica versa.

We use pause to defend ourselves from getting any kind of harm while afk for some mins. It was a good feature that while someone pauses on the surface/cave, the others won't get paused in the cave/surface so the others were able to continue playing.

Please add an option for this or publish the previous version so we don't have to use this new, less-liked method (by "we" I mean me and my friends).

I know someoen previously commented that this caused desync between the two "worlds" but we didn't find it a problem. We had more pros than cons from that.

if you go to the github page, you can get the the old version, but i will not be implementing "bugs into the codebase", having the server pause only some of the shards can cause major damage to the server.

Is this a dedicated server?
if it is, you need to download gem core

to download the mod:

to enable the mod:

if its not a dedicated server, just make sure you have gem core subscribed and enabled.
