I'm making this thread to be a bug tracker so we know what we have to fix for future versions.

Confirmed Bugs -- Bugs that we can reliably reproduce
Critical (will crash your game or make it unplayable)

Serious (will make certain parts of the mod unusable in their intended role, or usable in an exploity manner)
  • "Rudder Kraken" -- Spinblock rudders sometimes induce extreme velocities into the vehicle, sending it into space
  • Simple weapons with magazine capacity enabled can reload without consuming ammo in certain situations, causing them to fire for free much of the time.

Minor (small annoyances or visual-only bugs)
  • Alloy wireless receiver railings change direction when spawning a vehicle from a save
  • Triangle plating blocks don't mirror properly
  • Wing-mounted machine guns display their muzzle flash a few meters in front of the cannon
  • Muzzle flashes from all weapons don't move with the weapon, which looks strange on moving constructs
  • Torpedo launchers don't retain their "float depth" variable when spawned from a blueprint or taken out of play.

Unconfirmed Bugs -- Bugs with multiple reports but that we have not been able to reproduce
  • Torpedoes sometimes disappear shortly after launch. Probably a combination of arming time (working as intended) and collision detection (maybe bugged).

Working As Intended -- Not actually a bug, it's meant to be this way
  • Torpedoes disappear without exploding -- they have an arming time of ten seconds, fire them from further away!

Not Our Fault -- These are things we would like to fix, but can't until the developers open up more tools to modders
  • In multiplayer, torpedoes only appear for the player hosting the game.

Old Bugs Now Fixed -- These were real bugs in previous versions but we have since squashed them
  • Steam Workshop sometimes installed the mod under planets instead of mods

Only post new bug reports if they satisfy all of the following conditions (those that don't will be ignored!):
  • It is not already listed above under Confirmed, Working As Intended, or Old Bugs (more information regarding unconfirmed bugs is still useful)
  • You can reliably reproduce it; i.e. you can make it happen again and again
  • You are running the latest version of the mod with the latest stable version FtD
  • It is not "I can't place the mod blocks" -- there are other explanations for this!

The railing mod appears in the mods but this mod the main one appears in the planets could you give me the directory where it might be so i can fix it or something

dropping the mod in direct just causes the cannot place things issue
You're right, I tried installing it (I had been using the manually installed version from the forums up to this point) and it showed up under planets. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we are working on it now.

hello this is Damian Herbst I don't know but this is big problem that a lot of poeple are having when they subscribe to it the planet ui goes buggy.
That's a known issue and is, unfortunately, out of our hands. The developers did something with the Steam Workshop that erased the tags from some mods, which were how the game determines what's a mod, a planet, a blueprint, etc. It put the mod in Planets by default, but since it's missing all the actual planet data the game bugs out when it tries to load it. All we can do at the moment is wait for the developers to fix the Workshop.

In Multiplayer, only the host is able to see Torpedos, fired and loaded

Multiplayer is notoriously buggy in vanilla. Nothing we can do to fix that in the mod unfortunately. Nick will (I'm sure), eventually finish it.
After some testing another modder called Dahak (who makes an Advanced Cannon Rebalance mod on the forums) has confirmed the cause of the "Rudder Kraken" so it has been moved to Confirmed Bugs.
