Actually this is john not david. Big boss and Solid Snake are completely two different people.

Listen, if you'd know the plot of the metal gear solid games you would know this is actually Solid Snake's father. Not Solid Snake. read the huge paragraph i put about him in the description. PLEASE.

David (Solid) and Eli (Liquid) are clones of John (Naked Snake/Big Boss) and Big Boss from the first Metal Gear game is Venom Snake. Hopefully this will clear up any misconceptions about who is whom.

This is Big Boss. It's a custom model that uses the Young Snake facecamo from MGS4, but Solid Snake is a clone anyways.

the texture for the solid snake face was also modified so it looks more like big boss
