How to Install and Use the CheatMod Revived
Hey guys seems alot of you guys are having trouble enabling this mod or using it. So I am making you all a nice easy and quick guide on how to install mods and how to use the CheatMod.

How to Install Mods

To install Steam Workshop mods you simply click the subcribe button. Then when you launch GDT it will download and install the mod automatically.

How to Enable Mods

To enable a mod in GDT once the mod is installed simply follow these steps:

  • Launch Game Dev Tycoon
  • Open the Menu (Key - Esc)
  • Find the Mods button and click on it
  • Once you open that there should be a list of all the installed mods click on the CheatMod Revived mod it should then turn green.
  • Then restart GDT and your good to go.

If there are any screens that pop up with these mods are not enabled you still wanna continue click load game and ignore it.

How to use the CheatMod

To use the cheat mod you simply need to install and enabled the mod. Once you have done that you open the context menu in the game. You can open the context menu by clicking anywhere on the ground when in-game. Then click on the button at the bottom of the menu named "CheatMod..." once you do this it enables the cheatmod on that save and you can use all the features that it offers.

New buttons will appear by the Design, Tech, and Research Point bubbles. Click on those buttons to add more Design or Tech to the game your working on. Click on the button by the research bubble to add Research points.

It's not showing up for me, and yes, it is showing up in the mod part of the main menu.

I activated the GDT API and CheatMod. Both entries turn blue. Then i closed the game and started it again. There should be an error screen. Load the Mod anyway. Start a game and click on Cheatengine. It should appear now.

it doesn't work, none of my mods are working, i subscribe, i enable. I restart steam and play the game. A bunch of error things come up, I close them and create a new game. I click somewhere, no cheat menu.
