How to make a namelist.txt a namelist.mod?
Dear Cybrexkhan,
I have a little trouble looking for information about and understanding how to make a mod out of a custom_namelist.txt. Could you please explain to me how to do it, in laymen terms preferably.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but I'm guessing you're confused about how to add a custom namelist to your personal mod or something like that? If so I can point you to this guide here for adding in your own namelists, it's actually a guide on how to make a custom prescripted empire but it has a section dedicated to namelists: http://www.stellariswiki.com/Empire_modding#Name_lists

Download the manual version of CANS (located in the PI forum link provided in the description) if you want to see how I've done my code.

I'm sure Paradox must have changed the syntax format of namelist on some level, because a lot of old namelist mods appeared garbled.

@Gear'O'Derm The localization formatting changed earlier this year or last year, I forgot when, but not hugely so, the same principles apply per above if you are interested in making a mod.
