But I have one question, this mod disables dynamic wheater? I played for around 2 hours and had see no wheater change in my game.
Thanks.
Currently the global Dynamic Weather (DW) setting (in the game's Options Panel) is tied to the mod in the following way: when you enable a weather setting or load a preset that contains active weather, DW will be enabled automatically (no point adjusting rain intensity when DW stays off, right? ;) Also, when you use the Reset-button in the Weather or Presets panel, DW will be turned off as well. These changes of DW are applied both to the mod settings and the global DW setting.
I am not 100% satisfied with the way this is handled right now, as it is a bit tricky to work out a system in which both the mod settings and global options don't overlap too much, so I may tweak some of this functionality.
If you have any suggestions for this, let me know!
Mods "dangerous" installed, hehe: "Rush hour" and "Enhanced Zoom Continued" (has FOV)..
In winter maps I do not see LUT winter.
-Issue:
In all maps (winter It is noted more), when I move sliders ambient: height, rotation, and brightness, giving reset does not return to starting point map, buttons yes, but no view original map.

It looks like sliders and neutral center position are not consistent or too sensitive. Sun no return in position, for exe. Sun goes where was put nothing more to touch slider, without even moving slider.
Posdata.- I have had more previous conflicts (such as clock time backwards or changing LUT not return to the original LUT), but after trying and restart several times game, I only have the problem outlined above.
Did you get any errors (in the Debug Window - F7 key - or in the output_log)?
Thank you for your feedback!
Based on this I made a few changes:
- the values that are applied when resetting all values (or when hitting the reset button in the Ambient panel), the sliders are set to the actual default values;
- when you load your city, the sliders in the Ambient panel will be set to the values that are active when loading the map. That means that the sliders are set to the actual default values instead of simply set to the middle values. And when you have the 'Load last preset' option enabled, the preset's values are applied to the sliders.
A temporary 'fix' to get around your problem is to go to the Ambient panel after resetting everything, and moving the Sun Height slider very far to the left or right (which one doesn't matter, as long as you move the slider away from the center position, which looks pretty crappy, especially on winter maps). If you still have bad visuals, experiment a little with the other sliders in that panel as well.
I will upload the updated version that auto-loads and resets to the correct settings as soon as possible - there are a a few other things I want to finish first, so it may take a few days.
Thanks once again for contacting me: the changes I made based on your feedback are a big (and much needed) improvement!
I see, nor F7 nor output_log have fails.
The best:of mod: has brightness for night with the last slider ambient ("ambient light intensity") and we can see map.
Besides, possibility constant rain captivates to me, hehe.
Have you created any presets? If you apply them, do they all look messed up?
"Reset" in all options work ok.
In map winter, "ambient" missing slippers:

I've tested a number of scenario's, and so far I have been unable to reproduce your error. What I tried is:
- using the mod with the CompassMod (as it was mentioned in your debug window) - appears to be compatible with my mod;
- loading an existing city (winter and non-winter);
- loading an existing city with a different environment using BloodyPenguin's Environment Changer mod (loaded a winter map as non-winter, and non-winter as winter);
- starting a new city (winter and non-winter);
- starting a new city with a different environment using BloodyPenguin's Environment Changer mod (started a winter map as non-winter, and non-winter as winter);
- deleting the configuration file and loaded an existing city;
- deleting the configuration file and started a new city.
In all of these scenario's I tested playing with the ambient/weather settings, loading a different LUT, loading an existing preset and creating a new preset.
@Blackdragonbird: I haven't been able to pinpoint your problem either, but I'm still investigating.
I thought it was just in winter only.
Warning "compass mod" I have it before your mod, should not have relation.
Boreal, new map:

Errors:
-sliders "ambient"
-"presets" nothing comes out to do "click" mouse.
I go testing again eliminating "suspects" mods.
If I restart the game, does not occur.
To be honest, I never ever thought about that, even though I have the exact same problem: loading/starting a new a city after I've already loaded/started one before has never really worked for me, not even before I started working on my mod (so I'm pleased to hear it's not my mod that caused your problems :)
Thanks for reporting back, I really appreciate it!
@Blackdragonbird: I think I have traced the cause for your problem: Daylight Classic uses different default values for ambient- and sun-related settings, something I hadn't taken into account. I made a few tweaks and the mod should now load the correct values regardless of whether you use DC or not.
I still want to test it on my 'play city' with tons of mods to for compatibility-reasons and to double-check that I haven't overlooked anything, but I hope to release a patch tomorrow.
