[CW2] KK INS2/DOI SWEPs (2018)
Ok so i got most of it to work...
Atleast the main pack that is of the standard insurgency tab.

HOWEVER:
the 3 guns in the ws tab of the insurgency pack is still missing, im assuming their just community made guns.

ALSO:
the days of infamy guns seem to be HALF working! All it seems to be is the arms and hands out infront of me and the gun being held wierd

same goes for the walther p38 pistol and mg42 i just forgot to take a picture of them in game.

ALSO for the record i read it was incompatible with dod:s so i unmounted it as it was showing dod:s models and animations with the mg42 so that was my indication to unmount it.

ALSO SOME MORE: i DONT have the github legacy addon installed along with the workshop version due to auto updates being prefered on this version of the addon. As you said it should be treated seperately.

so with that said, any tips on resolving for the days of infamy and 3 ws tab guns?

the main pack by itself is fine, took awhile to setup right but its good in the long run.

but one quick question: should i ATLEAST run a map on the days of infamy mod too like i did with the insurgency map as well?

Those weird DOI sweps are Day of Defeat: Source models - either unmount DODS completely or mount it through mount.cfg AFTER doi content (simply make sure DODS line is BELOW DOI).

As for 3 WS sweps, this is official bug that will be fixed in next coming update.

EDIT: Ive just read rest of your post, sry
If unmounting DODS doesnt fix DOI sweps issue, make sure you dont have any DODS content pack from GMod Workshop installed(like Tommys swep pack linked on my DODS pack page).

its all right, the only problem is that i dont have any dod:s weapon content installed and it still persists i uninstalled a addon that had mountable guns that had dod:s models but that just contained the m1919 browning and mg42 but no stg44 or walther p38 thompson or BAR. however the browning m1919 is fine for my end in the DOI part of the pack the stg-44, p38, mg42, BAR, and thompson are all messed up. the rest seem to be fine. perhaps ill try again later when im not in a freinds server to test if that mounted guns addon i had installed previously was the problem.

also ps if this even remotely helps: I go to to a freinds ttt server and they have dod:s weapons to use but i dont have a addon for their server content that add its, its via workshopdl since they dont have fastdl but they use c_hands and i dont have tommys garbage swep pack thats linked in your dod:s cw2.0 pack. I own dod:s like i mentioned before.

Well, from my experience Ill recommend checking your legacy addons as well - I had problems with DoDS mounting when it shouldnt and it was because I had it accidently extracted in one of legacy addons.

well i had a thorough look through my addons and legacy addons. no dod:s to be found and it still persists, are you absolutely sure they work fine 100%? if not i would look into the code thats currently out on the workshop version and not the legacy version. And some guns even on the insurgency pack have bugs with SOME attatchments (example would be the kobra sights on the hk mp40 spams an error and the rpk 'sopmod' attachment makes it go invisable and my arms straight out holding nothing which is wierd but w.e i can understand its a w.i.p. and i look forward to the fixes soon, its a good addon so far it just needs some touching up here and there.

RPK sopmod is part of content check problem that makes those 3 WS sweps visible
if kobra sight spams errors, read what error says but most likely its an addon conflict

i told you the error before and i dont even know what could possibly beconflicting it. but it seems this person is having the same problem. i just copy pasted his comment for him to make it heard since im having the exact same problem it was earlier in the stream of comments i told i was getting that error but i forgot to mention it was on the hk mp40 but i dint know it was also on the ump45 and mp5k as well. also you said it was one of BER's older addons i removed it and it still persists. however his grooved supressor was over righting the model for your insurgency pisol supressors too so thats probably just a hexing problem so yea. but now i can confirm its not the error side of the problem his addon was just a hexing issue for this addon.

I dont know every single addon on steam so I cant tell you where is the source of these conflicts.
I made that custom text for this very error because there are addons on workshop that contain old/recompiled/broken INS2 models and they cause these problems.

its inconveinent as ♥♥♥♥ to when you dont see proper listed credits on cw 2.0 wepaons or guns of other bases instead you have in the 'credits': 'all models/textures/etc. are (C) to their respectful owners' and not list if some of the models were from insurgency team directly and leave me no idea whats causing the addon conflict with the kobra sights error on the select few guns.

w.e its a russian sight on a german smg from wwii i just use the eotech instead so i guess its bareable and understandble.

anyways im here to talk about the phong for the DOI luger that broke 2 updates ago (or 3 idk if there was a hotfix inbetween that time period i first spoted it)

and NO its not the map itself that made it look like it i tried 2 differenet maps. here are the 2 screenshots:

Sorry man but I dont know hows that my fault, that other people dont give a single ♥♥♥♥ about AT LEAST renaming the models they copy.

I hex/rename every single model I copy for use in my addons, I usually even change material paths to prevent conflicts with original but I cant force any other workshop contributor to do so.

I tried to make that error text more helpful by giving you complete file path to file that most likely exists in some other addon. If thats not enough I can bring back old error message "attempted to index nil value" if that would help you more.

As for the Luger issue, it always looked like that. I did not create custom material for it so what you see is original VMT.

never said it was your fault dude, IF I DID say it was yours i would clearly state that however thats not the case.

my words point towards the people who dont credit the original owners properly in professional and non lazily made credits in their model and texture workshop submissions.

as for the luger, fine i guess no sense in reporting if its the original vmt file.

as for that error ill take a look at it hopefully trying to find out what it is thats conflicting with the guns.
ok seriously not being able to use some of the DOI weapons due to some sort of addon conflicting with the optional sweps from the DOI mod in this pack is rather annoying, i know for a fact i have NO known dod:s swep pack that im subbed to and it still persists as far as im concerned. does it HAVE to be just sweps? Or can it also be caused by animtions but not sweps from DOD:S? i would LOVE some info here please. the only way i know have some sort of sort of dod:s content is via my downloads folder from a server i got too that has dod:s guns on it but its via workshopdl not fastdl but surely it dosent affect any other sweps in my addons folder, or does it? again i would love some info on this. im dying to know and it dosent make much sense that the DOI sweps in this pack are messed up if i dont have any downloaded addons that contain the dod:s weapons.
