Guards VS Soviet Army?
New player here, what's the benefit of playing Soviet Guards over the regular Soviet faction? I've tried both out but Guards just seem like Soviets but with less stuff? Am I missing something important? Is there any reason to pick Guards over regular Soviets?

Guards are the elite version of Red Army. With preveted units.

Red Army has a lot of quantity bulk buys.

They also have some older stuff, which Guards doesn't have anything comparable, that are quite good. Notably the BT tank.

Thanks for the response! Felt weird playing Guards at first after Soviets but if being elite is the idea, I can totally get behind that!
