Maybe add Russians?
I really love this mod - Day of Infamy, it just great and gives great gaming experience and alot of fun.
I would like to see Russians and their russian maps, like "taiga", "rainy forest" and other cool stuff.
Plus, Insurgency itself have some old russian guns available for terrorist to use. You can use some of them in your mod.

Thank for that great mod, and waiting for a reply!
Leon.

I hope they don't add Russians TBH and do something slightly more original like some a-symmetric mode with Resistance Fighters/Commandos rather than Conventional Armies.

Also, RO2?

I agree... it would add a dynamic to the game, that i dont think has been in any WW2 game that I can think of.
I agree. It would be nice if I could feel the power of the famous Russian "PPSH-41" ...

Disagreed, US vs Germany has always been more interesting. Paratroopers, king tigers, lots of house combat. The eastern front was boring trench shooting. Keep focusing on making maps and making German and US weapons

I love the idea of US and Germany more, but what if they made a Germany vs. USSR or Germany vs. Great Britain? If we're honest, Great Britain was in the war on the Allied side longer than the USSR or USA. I love where this mod is going, and think it could be a standalone WW2 game if consistent updates continue.

Trench warfare in the game for the USSR? You've read a little about the historical role of the USSR in the Second World War. You forgot about the war in Stalingrad, where the duration of a German soldier at the maximum security is 24 hours? In Stalingrad, where in each house were German or Russian soldiers, and in every dark corner of the sniper was? A capture of the Reichstag, where each floor, separated by walls, were Russian and German soldiers did not even know it?

As I was annoyed that the US has always underestimate Russia...

Joining the United Kingdom to war? Not bad idea...

As Mr.Wizard pointed out there was plenty house combat on the eastern front. Most definitely more than on the western front. Vyazma and Kharkov instantly come to mind so no the eastern front was not just "boring trench shooting". Also the forest fighting on the eastern front is one example of some very intense and interesting fighting that took place and there were most definitely paratroopers on the eastern front. The Soviet airlanding operation in the rzhev-vyazma offensive was one of the major airborne operations of the war and there were plenty of Soviet and German paratroopers that served as conventional infantry during the war. Also most of the Tiger IIs served on the eastern front.
