In my Skyrim, a Succubus only visits the mortal world for 1 of 3 reasons..
1. A new, young Succubus must attain an understanding of the world of mortals, and feel pleasure, fear, pain, joy and sadness. So they must venture forth and earn their wings so to speak.
2. An older Succubus, who failed in the test of youth, returns for a chance to right that wrong. OR for an older.. sent to check up on the worlds events. To influence them a bit for our beloved Sang..
3. A naughty Succubus, who has run off to do her own thing.. or simply was kicked out as a form of punishment. Ol' Sang will punish his creations,, but he wont kill them outright.. they are his favorite toys after all.

When they first appear, they are lost, naked, dazed and confused.. thus the gift barrel's left by Ol' Sang. The circlet is the ' connection ' to Oblivion for them. Even the bad ones seek this.. and it is left for them.. after all, why would Ol' Sang worry to much over the mess his child might make in the land of the Nords?

My Succubus also are kind, gentle and compassionate. They only seek out evil, with the exception of the Vigilants usually. But since they tend to walk up to people and say " We kill Daedre, they are evil and must die... " That doesn't sit well with the girls.. since they are after all, still Daedre themselves....

As far as ' naughty ones ' go.. well,,, they tend to just be doing their own thing.
