UNIT/BUILDING IDEAS
hello there everyone, my name is kazzigum. some of you know me from before marum went on break.
BUT I have been talking with another friend of mine and marum for ideas to bring the addon "alive" again. Im saying this because when marum went on break some of you were saying that the addon was "dead". Well my idea is to have some of you post ideas here for new units or buildings for the addon. Now this doesn't mean all you ideas are going to get implmented. And if they are they wont be at that very sceond. Another thing is that friend I mentioned at first is my friend frizzy and I are going to be looking through the page and look for plasuable ideas and talk over it with marum. so that means you have to give lots of DETAILS. We wont just choose ideas that are so short winded that theyere just a sentence long. We also won't choose game breaking ideas like EX: "super nuke: it destroys everything but not your own units" no were not going to be doing anything like this. So if you have an idea, post it here! good luck on creating!

Remeber to add lots of details!

what about other superweapons rather then the nuke like stallite laser shoting to area you chosse or a rocket nuke that you can select the area you want to shot that nuke to (but its cost more water the standerd nuke and need the silo to launch) or a toxic nuke ETC

and what about a shotgun unit that have a low redius but anyone near him get a high damage

and a watch tower or something that you can garrison unit in it to deafence and anyone come in the unit radius its shot at him

what about updating the Contraption builder to let get units in top of it and drop the unit to ground rather then garrison them and what about a thing tha can let Contraption get higher off the ground to make unit falls like a parachute unit

and what about an airport with you can buy a specific plane that can garrison units and drop them from the sky in place you choose

maybe adding a juggernaut unit which have high health and low speed equiped with an SMG or a assault gun like M4L1 that damage is in you'r choise

These are good ideas! But we need more from your units like give us stats where it could be used ect. This way we have more of an idea for making the units buffed for combat or nerfed for combat. Also i like your idea for the laser. I also wanted to tell you that im expermenting with missles and what not allready for the silo so you might see that soon! or you might not :steamsad:. So yeah I just have one question fo the "toxic" thing you were talking about what do you mean by this do you maen like zombies??? or like a gas of some sort just plaese just let me know.

i think the shutgun unit stats should be:
-very good in short range useless in high ranges and medium ranges
-his damage should reduce atleast 75% of the enemy health if its near him
-his health and speed should be normal as an smg unit
-the cost of this unit should be simi-medium

the juggernaut unit stats should be:
-have high health but low speed
-have an smg or an assault rifle and do from medium to simi-high damage
-cost should be high (cus this unit gonna be tough)
-its range should be normal

about the toxic a zombie plogue or a normal toxic both of them are good

if you want a toxic zombie plogue we can let it like this:
-if a unit have become a zombie his speed should be reduced
-anyone the zombie unit bite have a 60% of becoming another zombie and that unit have 1-2 minute if he gonna become a zombie
-the zombie is controlled by an ai
-the zombie can kill a unit of both line (you'r and the enemy) and damge 35%
-any unit thats gonna become a zombie the zombies stop attacking him(as a sign thats unit gonna turn to a zombie)
-the zombies should do a Zombie Group and attack at the same time (as you gonna focus if there is a zombie group anywhere)
-the zombie health should be 50% more then an SMG or something like this

if a normal toxic missile:
-lts say its like a normal missile that explode but the explode damage is reduced by 50-70%
-when its explode a toxic viruse gonna appear in a radius like 5 - 10 studs
-the toxic viruse gonna last for 30 sec - 1 min making that area a non walkable area
-its cost are up then the normal missile

and if you add the normal toxic missile what about adding a gasmask unit:
-its a unit thats have all the stats that an SMG man have
-but he have a gassmask thats protect him from the toxic viruse (to not let the viruse too strong and don't have a weakness)
-its cost should be 15% higher then the normal SMG

about the zombie ai its should be a normal ai that targting anyone near him (thats mean the nearest human his gonna targing him)

now lts talk about the unit that gonna jump from the plane lts name him paratrooping:
-thats unit only appear after jumping from the plane
-his cost is higher from the SMG unit maybe 25%
-his stats like the SMG but a little bit better
-the unit can only be build from the plane thats gonna drop him

and what about a patrolling points for deafencing like adding the these points choose a unit to walk in the patrolling points and he is gonna in circle as your choise when you are making one and you can choose Multiple units patrolling the same points

the watchtower building could be:
-medium in health comparing to others building
-its cost is pre-low
-its only work when you garrison unit in it (only one unit)that unit gonna sit there and any enemy come to his radius he shot at him

I Have two ideas. The First is an Artillery Building, It is a building that pelts Units and other buildings in a long range, this is however, a expensive weapon. The Second is a Melon Tank, It Fires AOE Rockets or A Single Target Cannon, It has high health and is also quite expensive, they both have long build times too. :clonecc:

Thank you for the ideas!!! Just one question. For the artillery, do you mean like bullets as ammo, or like AOE missles???? Remeber we need lots of details!
@kazzigum1 AOE Missles, Artillery wouldnt be artillery without it!

I have 2 ideas. first is a Shield Generator, it is a building that creates a shield bubble that protects building inside it from bullets and rockets,the shield bubble is tall as the water tower and long as a Nuke creator, however its expensive. second is a Flame Trooper, it burst out fire to wiped out enemies, the weakness its his gas tank. it will deal X5 more damage than shooting him on its body parts. But the trooper and the baracks itself are expensive as a Melon Sniper

Thanks for the ideas! I am allready working on a type of falmethrower trooper but you did give me a new idea for it. Thanks. And the idea for the sheild generator, now that is one of the best ideas I have ever seen so thanks!

I like the idea of the shield tower. but how will it work? I'm think it should be powered by energy and the more engergy it has the more the bubble will expand. so that means the more it is shot the damage will go to it's energy storage the bubble will shrinken. It's gotta be energy costly since it will be fully negating dmg. how about that?:kag_yes:

i like the idea of the Shield generator needs to be powered but i dont like went the buble expand and shrink went getting more power and getting destroyed. went it got more power it will not expand but the Shield Bubble will get stronger, went it got shot the Bubble itself will slowly being destroyed and the went the bubble got destroyed, the shield generator also got destroyed and the power source that is powering the shield generator also got destroyed.

Thanks to all of you guys having something to say on my post! I have been talking to my friend frizzy about these things. and Im glad to say we are working on 3 things right now to program!

Also Seeing that i suggested a Tank Unit but not the producing building, i'll do that right now. The Tank Factory Produces 3 Melon Tanks, However Its production time is One Minute Per Tank. :clonecc:
