How To Enable Mods + Troubleshooting
How To Enable
Mods aren't automatically enabled once you download them; you have to do that yourself. To do that, open the main menu, go to extras, then mods, select the mod you want to enable, and click apply to enable the mod. You may have to restart the game afterwards.

How To Fix
If you already know how to do this, then it's probably not working because the mod downloaded with an empty data file. For this problem, you need to go to your mods folder usually at C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect\mods (don't know where this is located on mac or linux) and delete the mod so it will download again.

there isnt appdata on there, i installed on a spare hard drive

My game is installed on my D drive instead of C, but the mods are still in appdata. Though my D drive might not actually be a separate hard drive, but a partition of C, so I'm not completely sure.

I'm on W10 so I can't find AppData. Solutions? Looked through most of my files in the C drive. Nothing in the D

To find AppData you can type %AppData% into the search bar by the start menu. This will take you to AppData\Roaming though, so you'll have to take a step back and find and open AppData\Local.

You can also go into the game, go to Options, and click "Open Save Folder" which should take you straight to where the saves (and mods) are stored.
