Were you thinking you want the tree to automatically grow more trees, or just drop unplanted pinecones?
Personally I'd be more interested in making automatically regrowing forests. It's a really neat idea.
It would also give me an excuse to counterbalance the usefulness with ridiculous measures, like
sponutaneously exploding trees.

aren't there mods for this already? i mean spreading nature and stuff?

i like them dropping pinecones and twigs so one could gather something for his fire instead of chopping down a forest. would make forests more alive with this random clutter.

I understand. I don't know if there are mods for spreading nature.
I could make it do both, if not.
