Betrayal at House on the Hill Complete

Can two players share a screen?
I'm trying to set up a remote game night with this game, and most of the people involved are couples. I'm trying to figure out if we can save on TTS copies (and internet bandwidth) by letting the people in one household share a screen and use it to control two pieces at once--will this work at all with the Betrayer mechanics? Or do we need one TTS copy per player for this to work?

(assume people can be trusted to just not look at the screen for the secret Betrayer parts)

This would be a pretty cool feature

It works. Anyone can move any piece so just hand over the mouse/keyboard and let them move and roll with whatever color is theirs. If you want to keep hidden information secret, there is an option to change color. So whenever it is the other person's turn, just change color to the correct explorer. There is also a 'blindfold' option if one team needs to look at or interact with something without the other team seeing.
