Guide to Rhun
Synopsis

Rhun is probably the easiest faction to play as. Starting far to the east of any threats, Rhun has plenty of time to develop their economy which is quite easy since villagers cost only 30 gold. Rhun’s natural enemies are the Dwarves of Erebor. If Rhun can lay claim to the vast gold wealth of Erebor or the Iron Hills, the Easterlings would be nigh unstoppable.

Rhun spearmen (Loke Rim) are a good foil to Rohan’s cavalry and their Champion Variag Raiders (Chariot Archers) have sufficient range to attack fortresses and town centers without fear of retribution. While their heavy cavalry is outclassed by that of Rohan and Gondor, their military is much cheaper and less population consuming allowing Rhun to win on numbers if necessary.
