How do I apply materials onto a T.V screen?

Tried multiple times to select a material onto a screen but it just coves the entire t.v

Never mind, found a fix. The issue being is that certain models lack a second part that is the screen itself. If it has a glass section or something that is considered the screen scroll to it and apply the material.
