FAQ
How can I play this game?

This is a Tabletop Simulator mod, you need to own Tabletop Simulator on Steam and subscribe to this mod.

Keep in mind this mod is not automated, it's only scripted for the table setting and there is no AI to play against. You need an other player to play with you and everything is done manually (same for the majority of Tabletop Simulator mods).

How do I use the boxes on the table?

Simply choose one field and one pack of dice/cards, then click "place" for them to appear on the table.

Is there a way to quickly learn the rules?

I recommend you to play the Gameboy Advance game before playing this mod, it will help you understand the rules and all the mechanics. You can also watch videos on YouTube about the GBA game and the real game.

What are the differences between normal and advanced games?

A normal game will use the small field (limited by yellow lines). An advanced game will use the entire field.

What are the differences between the EU/US game, Japanese game and GBA game?

The Japanese version was the first to come out. Then it was adapted for Europe/US with the same cards (translated in English) and figurines, but with different dice and rules.
The GBA game doesn't have any content differences between regions and the rules are nearly the same as the Japanese ones.

EU/US game

You will always use the same dice pool of 12 dice, and a die is not deleted when you summon a card.

-> Generic dice - 12 dice (3 dice from each level)
-> Play with the real cards and figurines (3 in normal game, 10 in advanced game)

Japanese game

You have to build your dice pool regarding the levels and tribes of your cards.
The die of the card you summon will be deleted.

-> Japanese dice - 6 in normal game, 15 in advanced game
-> Play with the real cards and figurines (6 in normal game, 15 in advanced game)

GBA game

You have to build your dice pool regarding the names of your cards.
The die of the card you summon will be deleted.

-> GBA dice - 6 in normal game, 15 in advanced game
-> Play with the GBA cards and figurines (6 in normal game, 15 in advanced game)

The GBA game has many other differences from the physical games. If a monster's defense exceeds an attacker's attack after spending a defense crest, the difference is inflicted to the attacker's HP. Dungeon Masters also can't attack like they can in the physical games. There is also a Type advantage system, giving an advantaged attacker or defender 10 extra attack or defense. In addition, there are many exclusive monsters that either didn't appear at all in the other versions, or appeared in a different form.

What are dimensions?

Dimensions mean summons. There is a dimension limit during the game and it's the same with all rules:

- 3 dimensions in normal game
- 10 dimensions in advanced game

How do I build my deck and dice pool?

Here are some advices.

To build your deck:
- Use the "Search" function on the decks
- Put the cards you want in your hand

To build your dice pool:
- Pop-out an unknown die from the infinite bags and use the "States" function to choose the die you want
- Put the die in your dice pool (golden chest)

To play with the dice:
- "Search" your dice pool when you want to choose the 3 dice you will throw
- Put the 3 dice in the dice throw area and click on this area to throw them (you can click multiple times to shuffle them in the air)
- Use the dice dimensioner to delete the die (Japanese or GBA) when you summon, it is meant to be used when you don't have the rights to delete an item

How can I contribute to the mod?
First of all: please do not copy this mod, this is useless for TTS workshop and disrespectful to me.

You can ask me directly in the comments if you want to add you own expansions or share your ideas. We can all work together to improve the mod and create new features!
