Bug / Compatibility Issues (READ BEFORE POSTING)
Make sure to include the console output for errors, logs for crashes, and steps to reproduce the issue if possible!

Known issues:
  • On-damage effects may trigger and shielded hearts are breakable while some monsters are invulnerable.

Issues that are fixed on future versions of REPENTOGON:
  • Using Suplex while charmed / baited instantly grabs your own hitbox.
  • Inner Child revives may break boss drops and outro jingles.

background setting under hud settings in dead sea scrolls menu does not save, resets to default on new run. all other settings work. playing on rgon+

found the issue, will be fixed in the next update :)
Not 100% sure if it's related to this mod but I believe so, when I started playing with it for some reason red rooms just don't seem to work no more ( by that I mean the red room outline don't appear no more with cracked key/red key/soul of cain etc and there's virtually no way to enter one even with moon? card ) also question, are the achievments disabled while this mod is on ?

the mod doesn't effect red rooms in any way and they work completely fine for me so make sure it IS actually this mod causing the issues and not some other one
and no the mod doesn't disable achievements

I found this bug on the first day but I wasn't sure how to really explain it, basically there's this mod called Sacred Dreams whitch introduces a book called the Nightmare Grimoire I think, what that does is it spawns different Nightmarish variants of hostile mobs that are actually charmed so that they don't hurt you, but for some reason with this mod enabled whenever there is an item that gives enemies orbitals or most familiar babies the Nightmare Grimoire effect activates summoning the Nightmare Spiders and uses the Nightmare Host ? attack that spews out 3 red tears each smaller than the other

https://prnt.sc/ExFcttBGBMYp - as It can be seen in the screenshot below the Leprosy item in this situation procs BOTH the spider spawning and tear shooting, usually its either one or the other, and this applies to pretty much any orbital/familiar item the enemies get, would love for this to get fixed soon since it pretty much adds a mega unfair mode whitch is pretty funni xD

When you use the setforceditems command to grant a resurrection item such as 1up!, the resurrection item does not work.

Compatibility suggestions:

Reworked curse of the blind - Show the quality of items the enemies have
Heaven's Call - Luna already has an item system so don't give luna items, otherwise maybe give the lunar bosses a higher chance for planitarium items (I also had an absolutely evil neptunus boss fight where it had magnetizing tears and tech x and it was impossible to see the laser ring on the backdrop, but that's working as intended I believe because it darkens the room)

Also this is not a Big issue but some enemies have glitched graphics when combined with improved and reworked foes, I noticed a burning fatty with a boost to size had a larger head but the body stayed the same size

the fatty with the big head was most likely from thick odd mushroom which only makes the enemy's head bigger like the player version (if it has one)

Oh ok it might have been!

Also a gameplay affecting bug: Carrion Queen (and presumably other segmented enemies) can spam Mars

I was doing a T cain run and while in the beast fight after I killed a custom Horsemen ( Ultra Conquest ) a black fog surrounded the arena for around 3-4 seconds and then I kept on dying on repeat, I enabled hitspheres with debug and I notice this fellow chasing me across the arena ( https://prnt.sc/zDTd9C8HmdbU , https://prnt.sc/pV_NI_ZZ3BDH ) Sadly I can't show what Items he had before death because I'm stupid and forgot to do rewind and instead exited the run and my whole run deleted :alina_angry:
really fun mod but ive encountered a VERY specific bug in regards to a modded enemy

i was playing with fiend folio on, and encountered a room with an alfil who had fart baby, alfils are opposites to bishops, they're invulnerable until every other enemy in the room is dead, and it was detecting its fart baby familiar as an enemy itself, basically familiars are detected as enemies that you can kill. this might also be a problem for that one champion variant that does a similar thing, but i haven't encountered that yet

not much I can do about it because of how the sin jewels are implemented
