Hello, Knife Kitty! I'm not gonna lie. I LOVE your HK416! It is arguably the best one around right now. Ok, back to the point. I've been trying to make a swep of my own on the CW2.0 base, but to be honest, i don't even know how hard this is gonna be. And although Spy did post a documentation, he never really told us how to get started, and i was afraid to make a discussion to ask him because i was afraid he would go crazy on me, and since you are one of the best at this (even spy said so!), i have come here to learn your ways. So, will you accept me, oh great and mighty one?

Well, probably the best way to start is to extract CW.gma and read source luas. Starting new swep is unbelievably easy - just make a copy of lua/weapons/weapon_of_your_choice, open its lua and start changing values one by one until you get to what you want. Change swep name first though.

Do i have to hex the models or something like in CW 1, cause that stuff is really confusing.

Hexing is no more than renaming models. You probably will want to do it to prevent file conflicts. With old CW you also had to use hex editor to change sound names in mdl too but that shouldnt be necessary with CW2. Try checking some hexing tuts but basically all you have to do is rename model files(.mdl .vtx .phy) and change name in header of .mdl using hex editor.
