theyre reaching VMT limit as they are now
if you want to add retextures anyway you can either
-use some render hook to edit iMaterials - unlimited ammount of skins but settings will be shared between all weapon instances
-recompile weapon models with different vmt names and switch them(skins AND models) through attachments(done on my XM8) - skin settings could be weapon instance specific this way but its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ more work
Can you please confirm that procedure? I'd like to do things right at the first moment, if you know what I mean.
well since you omitted the model recompiling and creating "attachments" which would represent new skins, then yeah, that way you will replace current textures/skins with your own without adding more options
as for vmts - they are text files
I made it to match the "Gold/Yellow" colour on all the sights, but ESPECIALLY the futuristic Hologram Sight. I think it's nice, some of my friends think it's nice, hopefully everyone that's not a skin-hating ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will think it's nice and so on. Do you like it? If you do, would be nice if you added it.
If you can't add it for whatever reason, can you at least give me (or us?) info/instructions/a tutorial on how to add it as an option in the Customization screen?
I'm not really into CS:GO, I only made this skin to match up with the Hologram sight. Thought it would be a good addition, although I know size matters in terms of it being little is favourable.
