I did check the folder after closing gmod but there was nothing there. Another commenter had my issue as well

I tried decompiling the lua file to see if i could make out anything to do with video output but no dice

Are you playing the Linux native version of gmod? If so then that's probably the issue. Try using the Windows version with Proton and it should work. I personally play the game with the latest GE Proton and it works just fine for me.

Proton sucks balls running any 3d game on my machine

I would run it (and many other games) under proton but they just dont work :(

When i film a video whit the camera i cant find the videos in my folders and how to fix it
