Port the map to legacy version of hlf 2
Not sure if anyone has tried running the map before the anniversary update. in the dead end video he said the map might be broken or something in the anniversary version. just throwing stuff out here.

I also have no idea how to find the BSP version of this map, If i did i'd port it over to rtx and look there for clues

i have the bsp to get it you need to go to your workshop folder in steamapps then press the folder named content after that find a folder named 220 then look for a folder named 3430830568 in that folder you will find a pair of .vpk files open them with GCFscape and now you can find the map.bsp hope that helps

i ported it to old engine but it seems old engine crashes on boot it did load on pre steam pipe portal 1 tho

when you say legacy have you tried using a source version 7 version of half life 2? I'm not to good with mods and whatnot so I haven't tried to transfer the mod to that ver myself, I ask because there might be a demo that only works on version 7 builds

you are right, but i do it with other method, just changed the expansion of file from .vpk to .bsp

I downloaded Half-Life 2 Retail Build 2187 (2004), but when I try to load the map I get this:

>> map kulcs.bsp
CModelLoader::Map_IsValid: Map 'kulcs' bsp version 20, expecting 19
map load failed: kulcs not found or invalid
