[B42] Week One NPC
Lousvile mall lags my game so badly.
I use a mod to start in Louisville to try and escape, and the mall is making my game stutter so badly it actually got me killed because i couldn't do anything. I have no stuttering going to the mall with week 1 and bandits disabled. Does anyone know any settings/mods that can help?

Just dont go there or reduce amount of npcs
Lowering the NPC spawns fixed it. Something else to note was that i had no lag before the fix until i went inside.
Mod performance is really bad tbh...
Even with lower NPC spawns (0.5) in military base at day 5 i had about 5-10 avg FPS.
I know that my PC isn't very good, but for i5 8300H, 16Gb RAM and GTX 1060 6Gb thats not good.
Are you using other mods? I had lag issues and it turned out to be a different mod, dont really know what mod caused it just turned off a bunch and its better now.

I tested and confirmed i have zero lag in the mall without Week on installed. I do have other mods, but i don't think i have anything that would affect just the mall interior. At any rate, i'm just going to try and go in and loot the military surplus store there 1st on new runs. at least that way i don't really lose as much progress if i die

LV in general is a very low performance area in B42. The mod makes it even worse. Though in a place with store zones it gets pretty bad. My average was 6 fps in the grand ohio mall.

That is with NPC spawns down to 0.3

I pushed through it anyway to get easy free gun stuff, but after a while, the performance went up until it was actually normal. i guess the NPC's started fleeing the mall.

ah so im not the only one having this issue. just had my game crash cus of it. been doing the turn off all the mods game to find out what ones the culprit. but you just saved me the time. tho its not just the mall that's the issue. its any play that has a concentration of buildings/ npcs and iv have the spawns set to low to begin with as my hands are disabled so this game is very difficult to keep up with.

Just dont go to louisville. Rooms are too big there. Each npc analyzes the room contents to generate actions. The more rooms the bigger the rooms and the more npcs the more lag you gonna have
