This mod will be update in the future ?
Good morning,

First of all I want to thank everyone who worked hard to make this demo playable for the public, it's one of the best gifts we can have for us nostalgic players. thank you very much.. then I would like to know if in the future you will update this mod to refine small details until what resembles the ready detail of the original? for example I noticed that we do not have an infinity of ammo in the magazine it must be reloaded all the time (in the original it reloads the weapon only once, they had to integrate a BR which doesn't have the full magazine just to reload once, for example the double SMGs they never reload in the original)

I also noticed that the jackals, when they are killed, there is less blood in the floor compared to the original work, do you have the possibility to update this mod or is it the final version that you will not touch it anymore ?

In any case, I applaud you hugely for this work,
you have just created a dream that has come true for each of us who experienced this legendary demo

Thank you

Regards,

They don't actually have bottomless clip in the original demo but actually just had their first magazine loaded with more bullets than the actual magazine size. The SMG has 64 rds per magazine and the BR 12. In the original demo the first magazine of both weapons were like 999 with 999 grenades. MCC limits you to 13 grenades for example and we opted to make the starting magazine size the same as the reloaded magazine size to not confuse someone on why their first magazine was much larger than subsequent reloads.

Regarding blood, effects are ported over but will note that Halo 2 garbage collection can be pretty aggressive on the mission so often times the blood gets despawned pretty quickly.

We will be doing some updates to get some more inaccuracies fixed and fix actual bugs but don't expect this mod to be continually updated/maintained actively after say a month from now. There is only so much we can get accurate without just being on Halo 1.5's version of the engine, modders can do as they see fit when the assets go live on github. I'd definitely be willing to include any major "accuracy improvements" that community members figure out after that point though.

Thank you for your response and for your clarification regarding the charger and the blood,

don't worry, these are just small details and I sincerely think that you did a great job to make the demo as faithful as possible

It's really incredible

Thanks for everything!
