Are you supposed to win in the European war as NATO?
I played Germany and got crushed as NATO when Russia declared war. Don´t get me wrong, O could have done better. Be better prepared, etc. But Russia has a laughable giant army, full of tanks, a laughable amount of planes and even gets bufs. Sooo are you expected to win or is "normal" to lose?

They've posted a teaser of Ukrainian Victory, and ive seen screenshots of the overall European Victory be posted by players in their Discord, so it is possible. Psure it has smth to do with uniting the EU, since both of the screenshots I saw were in 2032 and had the EU united

I think It's weird, I've done Russia through Medvedev and I've gotten a similar result, but opposite. I've been completely crushed by NATO when the war started. It's maybe just about the difficulty that it is to face the AI. But there is a second European war, regardless if you lose or win the war, you will still have a chance to counter attack later.

i had a similar issue when playing russia, there is absolutely no warning that nato will get involved in ukraine
nato just absolutely curb stomped me and i couldnt do anything about it
why not just have a system in place where u can extent the time the eu can involve itself?

also is putins death just guarenteed? because i got rid really early of covid-19 yet putin still kicked the bucket

Interesting. How do you form the EU before the outbreak of the war with Russia? I had integration on 100 percent, but nothing happened. When the war with Russia ended (I cheated like ♥♥♥♥, to see what happens) the focus tree changed and I could form the EU, but not all nations joined and I didn't get cores. Maybe that part is unfinished?

You don't, it's something that can happen after victory. This is something that everyone has differently I think. I've seen just as many people complain about Russia always winning as I see complain about NATO always winning

Its very annoying. I had no idea NATO would get involved. I had no ability to hold them off. Even save scumming and trying to get my puppets troops to hold the line wasnt enough. There is no warning NATO will get involved if you beat Ukraine too badly, and if you dont beat Ukraine that much NATO still gets involved but just on a timer that you cant extend. NATO will always intervene in Ukraine like instantly. Very poor design choice and just makes Russia not fun considering you have to do a very specific strategy to win which no one will be aware of their first time basically wasting the entire run. You need your good army to actually be on the NATO border and use ♥♥♥♥ troops in Ukraine. Which obviously when you go to declare war on Ukraine youre just going to put your whole army on them and try to crush them. If there was ANY sort of warning or hints of needing to have the NATO border protected that would be really cool. Especially with how the war exhaustion hits like instantly and all the operations give you like 50 days to capture cities.

Yep too much going on at once, like I stated in a different thread every dev was making whatever they thought cool, no sense of direction or plan

I guess this is what happens when you have too many groups of devs trying to shoehorn in their own ideas and plans. Big Sad :steamsad:
