add a heavenly restriction mode for an ult or something, i wanna see toji

This is going to be very tricky with how domains work with most characters in yomi, but maybe give Maki a toggle to ignore domain effects. Like she has a passive to not be affected by them.

This has already been implemented with Base Domains, i won’t be going through all current non Base Domain domains, as it will be too much hassle to have convoluted solutions to all of them (other than gojo’s id already figured that one out)

once modders start switching from their characters using old domains to Base Domains then makis effects will be present more often. i think a few are getting updated soon:steamthumbsup:

What's the difference between old and base domains? like will they have barriers and set ranges now or smth?

yeah basically these new domains let you choose if you want it to have a barrier or not, and if another person has a domain they can invade your closed domain by clashing with theirs, theres a lot of cool stuff you can do with it, this isnt a promo but the only character i know that has it is the Disgraced One (i didnt work on him but jynx did) if you wanna test it out. you can also get the basedomain test character off of Migues' discord

The mod is insane, 4k damage in 1 move is ridiculous, sure you lose ur weapon but it doesnt matter because you've already chunked a third of their health. I beat the snot out of someone without any combos going over 7 (except for that 1 super that like dashes around and cuts a lot) and for those who think thats fine, some move have multiple hits. Significant nerf to her damage is probably in order. I think an 8 frame guard break is too potent as a threat, needs to be in my opinion above any of her neutral moves, so around 10 maybe 11. Her kit is fine tho, dive bomb is a bit too overtuned imo, make it only happen if she lands another move so you cant just have perma dive bomb even as a threat, like maybe going from dodge to dive bomb or dash back to dive bomb or maybe any of her slider distance moves into dive bomb as a chase tool. Make blitz cost way more meter, that ♥♥♥♥ is free for the value you get out of it. Great character and the moves actually look kinda smooth, some are a little bit janky but thats ok, gets tuned over time. My rating playing as: 6/10 (cool to chase them down but like i said, chasing is a little too easy) , against: 6/10 (parrying anything is extremely rewarding mentally, you feel great). Will play again if becomes less op and rating will go up.

I hit someone for 4k and chose not to use that move ever again (character as well), havent played maki since it felt kinda gross to use, but just got shat on by someone using maki, I think what makes her kit gross (in my opinion, and gross as in filthy, as in goku pulled up on a preschooler in ultra instinct and flicked him gross) is that it feels like a character designed to win, which isn't good, you want a character that is fun and functional, maki feels like she was made (no offense to you, i bet ur great) by a 14 year old that keeps losing so he made the character of their dreams. I did deal 4k damage in one hit, I think it was a relinquish move (and initiated I presume) as I stated but I cant remember.

edit: maybe i was fighting someone with a damage multiplier so they potentially took 3200 and their character has a built in 25% bonus dmg intake

i found a relinquish move which does the big chunk of damage that you might be talking about, but they all do. the point of the relinquish moves is that they are hard hitting yet you are punished for using them since you lose the ability to do other high damage moves unless you get your weapons back (which punishes you further with an animation that is not cancellable and costs more meter) these things were thought through. there are many beloved mods which have a high damage super, (one i tested does 5k damage) i think its fair since its not something you can spam, youre taking a risk using it since it isnt easy to hit, and you lose a big chunk of super and your weapon for the time being.
