what is survival/sandbox about?

i dont know what survival is about and i wanna try it but want to know what it involves first. the sandbox, well ig i got an idea of what it involves

survival is normal, but after you shelter the first time you can only get neutral and negative cards when you sleep. sandbox is just god mode basically, you can use all your discovered cards, (cards you have chosen before) and if their stackable you can stack as many as you want
