Torpedo's on map?

Great mod, but I activated it while I have map contacts disabled.. Which I assume is the reason Ive lost my ability to follow my torps.... If I start a new career with map contacts on and your mod enabled. Will it allow torpedo's still on the map and hence the ability to follow?
