I'll look into the issues, however having already tested the Leafskin and Revelers on my end with no issues, I don't know if I'll be able to fix that. I'll check out Wightborn as that one is new. (Or maybe I just never noticed).
Out of curiosity, which DLCs do you own? Personally I own, Empires and Ashes, Dragon Dawn, Primal Fury and Eldritch Realms so maybe some of the newer DLCs mess things up?
In regards to the DLCs, I am reluctant to combine all the files into one, as I have no way of testing it in various configurations. Disabling the DLCs may not be the same as having a copy of the game without owning them.
Secondly, well, I started looking into it in part because I wanted to make my own variant of your mod. I own all DLCs including Expansion Pass-only ones, but I have doubts if this has anything to do with the issue. Look:
Those are all base game rpks, and I'd be very surprised if they differed on whether I own the DLCs or not. I should however note that I am using the Paradox Plaza download of your mod and not Steam Workshop, which theoretically might be messed up?
> Disabling the DLCs may not be the same as having a copy of the game without owning them.
Perhaps, but I keep on thinking about Eldritch Realms and its second campaign scenario. You get an NPC Dragon Lord ruler and an NPC Primal culture ruler. They are both story-important, but how would they even work if one only owns Eldritch Realms? Clearly the files have to be present. Still, someone (possibly me) *really* should ask people more knowledgeable about it than I, but atm I am on a break from AoW4.
Interesting finds. I know for a fact that the Reveler's were changed at some point, as I specifically had issues with finding it because it was not in the correct tome as you described. It is possible that a recent patch have messed up the Shared_Modulariy edits.
I'll just check the mod on the Paradox site to make sure the files up there are not faulty.
- The Reveler's Heart transformation was indeed broken (again!) and I will be updating the mod with a fix in the coming days.
- I am now able to reproduce the issues with the Leafskin transformation. Turns out that the leader I was using (an elf, one of the defaults I think) simply didn't show the transformation. I have not been able to fix the issue with the leafskin transformation though. Previously Leafskin and Gaia's Chosen shared the same hair, but this no longer seem to be the case. Even though the hair for Gaia's Chosen works now, the Leafskin hair remains stubbornly black. I have spent hours looking for the leafskin entry but I cannot find it. If anyone knows anything about it, please do let me know!
- I have yet to investigate the Wightborn issue, however if everything goes smoothly it will be addressed in the upcoming update.
I am lol. I was about to ask if you looked at it or if you just forgot. Even if I no longer use your particular mod, it served me well and I wish for others to use it too.
Leafskin is odd indeed. Thing is, before I gave you my previous reply I made a test mod to see if the paths are correct, and right now it almost feels like the game was stealthily patched since, except I don't think I've seen any patch notices. o.O Either way, right now it appears that you need to kill two entries - one is in Tome_Paradise.rpk above, but the other is in Shared_Tome_Modularity.rpk -> Glade Runner -> Glades Hair Color.
While at it I checked my solution for Wightborn and it seems to still hold.
Thank you very much for the help!
First off: you are the actual MVP. Until we can have mod installers like e.g. Skyrim, splitting customization features into separate micromods is probably the best way to go about this. I've returned back to using your mods simply because 1) you added eyes, which is the main thing I was trying to do myself 2) it's less hassle for me to maintain XD
However, now I have two more suggestions. How about adding two more sets of mods to complete the set?
For now I will not be making any new mods as I stopped playing the game a while back. I will; however, still try to keep all of the current ones up to date.
